15 Contact Hours: Provides CFCE™ Certification
Assessment of a subject's functional abilities is a necessary part of any return to work program. In this Functional Capacity Evaluation Certification workshop you will learn to perform FCEs including how to evaluate and document material handling and non-material handling aspects of work performance. Other skills covered will include how to administer and record results of Performance Criteria Screening and techniques for marketing your programs to physicians, case managers, employers and adjusters.
Based on peer-reviewed and published clinical research, our methodology has been proven time and again to be a reliable, valid, and objective tool for determining functional ability. By becoming certified in The Back School/BIO-ERGONOMICS FCE model, you can increase the industrial rehab services you provide to your community. Our protocol does not require you to buy any additional costly equipment nor any expensive software that must be updated regularly.
At the completion of the course and submitting two acceptable FCE reports over the 12 months following the course, you will be designated as a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator (CFCE™) and receive 15 contact hours or 1.5 CEUs (in most states).
