It seems that we can't compete with the organizations that are offering higher pay and huge sign on bonuses. In fact I heard one organization was giving out $15,000 sign on bonuses for a 2 year commitment! The organization is even in a larger city. Just wondering if there are other organizations out there that are experiencing this same situation.

UWPT

9 Posts

Posted - 03/27/2006 : 14:30:06 Show Profile Reply with Quote
Jill,
The PT market is extremely competitive right now. It appears that we have increase demand and not enough supply. We are experiencing a situation similiar to yours and have had to utilize contract therapists. Luckily we have interviewed a few individuals and are hoping to have someone hired soon. As far as sign on bonuses go, we are offering that as well ($5,000) but not $15,000! Good luck with your recruiting.
Eric
