Our user asked: "I had surgery 6 weeks ago [2 pins near tip of the elbow]. My therapist can manipulate my elbow to full flexion, I can get it to about 115 degrees when exercising. Question: the stiffness is so constant and returns quickly after therapy or exercising. Any way to reduce down the stiffness to allow me to move more and improve faster?"

Ask a PT Response: "For my patients that may have this condition, heat along with a constant stretch has been helpful to them (ie. hot pack for 10minutes with patient holding hand weight to allow for stretch). Massage can be helpful as well. Otherwise being dilligent with performing the exercises your PT give you would ensure the best results."
