Our user asked: "I play soccer and one day Im not sure but I hit an overly inflated ball too hard which caused some pain in my lower Achilles on the right side. I tried the r.I.c.e technique but weeks later I still get pain when I strike te ball but only strike. I can walk, run and side foot the ball fine, can you help me?"

Ask a PT Response: "That is peculiar. Have you had anyone take a look at your achilles yet? Pain wiht impact can be associated with a possible fracture or tear. If your condition doesn't improve, it probably would be a good idea to have it looked at."
