Our user asked: "I am having total knee replacement in April of this year. I'll be recovering in ****, Ca I have called my Insurance Co. and the nearest PT facility is over 40 miles away so I'd like to do my PT at home I've had to do it in the past when I had a total hip replacement. I don't know if these exercise videos are for sale but if they are I would like to order the exercise videos for knee, hip, and back. Please let me know by e-mail. Thank you"

Ask a PT response: "Unfortunately we don't have a series of videos for sale. You are welcome to review the exercise clips on CyberPT for no charge. Here is a link to a knee replacement manual which you might find informative and useful. http://www.comportho.com/images/stories/pdf/KneeReplacement_opt.pdf - http://www.comportho.com/images/stories/pdf/KneeReplacement_opt.pdf

I am also attaching sample handouts of exercises which are typically given to my patients after a TKA. The first page contains exercises which are initially performed after surgery and the second page contains exercises which are performed by patients after they have recovered and are doing well. I am also including links to sample protocols for typical progression of exercise after TKA as well.

With any exercise program, you should double check with your surgeon or PT before performing any exercises. Best of luck to you and with your recovery."
