Our user asked: "I've been diagnosed with HSP (Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia). I use a wheelchair. My feet burn. I guess because of poor circulation. Is there a treatment for this, preferably non-drug?"

Ask a PT Response: "I don't know too much about this condition but it sounds like physical therapy could help patients with this condition maintain and increase muscle strength and range of motion. Various medications could be utilized to assist with managing this condition as well: http://www.mdvu.org/library/disease/hsp/hsp_tre.asp - http://www.mdvu.org/library/disease/hsp/hsp_tre.asp . Thank you for using CyberPT."
