Our user asked: "Hello. I have had problems with my knees for a few years. I was told recently that I have Patella Tracking Disorder. I have been given stretches to do to help with the problem. I read online that riding a stationary bike can help also. My question is which is better for my condition, an upright or recumbent exercise bike? I plan on purchasing soon but I want to make a smart purchase. Thanks."

Our user asked: "We tried searching for evidence based literature to support one or the other but were unable to find anything. My suggestion to my patients would be to utilize the bike which would be most comfortable to them and which they will actually utilize. My patients tend to find recumbent bikes to be more comfortable. I hope this helps."
