Our user asked: "I am a physical therapist working north of Atlanta. I recently got a new patient with a labrum repair - surgical... oddly, no script- the orthopedic , per patient, said "just eval and treat." I know the progression of treatment for rotator cuff repairs. I am awaiting a script with the surgery performed and any restrictions from the MD. Do you know a "typical" progression of therapy- are there many restrictions? thanks !"

Ask a PT Response: "Depending on the type of tear I-IV, rehab progression and restrictions will vary. You can view some sample protocols with progression on our protocol page from our CyberPT classroom. http://www.cyberpt.com/cyberptprotocols.asp - http://www.cyberpt.com/cyberptprotocols.asp "
