My 18 month old son has a dx of torticollis, and left hemiparesis, he started therapy at 5 months and the torticollis has persistented. After trying multiple positioning techniques the PT wants to try kinesio taping or a tot collar. My instinct as his mother is to go to with the less invasive treatment first but after reading about kinesio taping I am worried about it's effectiveness. Any insight into which treatment would be more effective would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think the collar is much more effective but the taping is a nice break for the child while still providing input. It may be a good thing to have a couple of options for when your child isn’t willing to wear the collar.
