Our user asked: "What specific treatment can a PT do for the above condition? What exercises? Taping? Education? Please advise. thank you."

Ask a PT Response: "You can find more information on Sports Hernia in our article:

Participation in PT will depend on the individual and severity of the injury. If PT is appropriate for the individual- strengthening and core stabilization exercises are often prescribed. Kinesiotaping could be a possibility if appropriate to help facilitate posture and strengthening with exercises. A consultation with a physician and PT would be highly recommended should an individual have this condition prior to any form of self exercise program. Thank you for using CyberPT."
