Is carpal tunnel syndrome something that is seen by physical therapists? I have a order for an OT to see me for this.
Thanks
Jane

Jane,
Individuals with carpal tunnel can be seen by physical therapists. P.T.'s are just as trained to treat this condition. However, if splinting is required, this tasks generally falls on the O.T.'s. At our facility the occupational therapists see individuals with this diagnosis and make the splints if necessary.
