Dear List,
I am conducting a pilot study on how limb prosthetics is covered in PT schools. If you please could take a few minutes to answer these questions, I will very much appreciate it. Thank you!

What year did you graduate in?
What country was the school you attended in?
Did you have a class on limb prosthetics?
Did you learn the types of prosthetic design, as in endo vs. exo?
Did you learn the types of prosthetic sockets available?
Did you learn the types components available (knee, foot units)?
Did you learn the criteria for component selection?
Did you learn how to assess proper fit of a prosthesis?
Did you learn both upper and lower extremity prosthetics?
Did the course cover newest advancements in prosthetics (microprocessor controlled units)?
Do you currently work with amputees?
On a scale 0-10, where 0=terrible, 10=excellent, how would you rate your training in prosthetics?
What aspects of prosthetics do you think must be added to the curriculum or improved in order to prepare physical therapists to working with amputees?
PLEASE REPLY to stephmanu@gmail.com. THANK YOU!!!
