Aquatic Therapy for pts with Neuro problems

I just wanted to promote the use of Aquatic therapy for pts with Neuro problems. I have been an aquatic PT for 10 years and truly believe it can help so many patients that "land PT" may not help as much. Of course, safety is first, so condsider the patient's overall mobility before going in the pool. But remember even in shallow water, you can work the distal muscles and tissues and reduce swelling. Be sure to be trained on aquatics so that you know all the effects and indications and contra-indications.
