Our user asked: "I want to become a physical therapist but my fiance is in the military and I will be moving around a lot. I am currently taking general ed. classes at a community college and have no idea where to start. Is it possible to take online courses to obtain the bachelor of physical therapy?"

Ask a PT Response: "Degrees in PT have are now doctoral level degrees. I am not aware of any program that offers an online program for entry level DPT degree. There are multiple programs, however, who offer courses online for individuals who already posess their degree in PT and would like to work towards their DPT. Good Luck. "

Our user asked: "Sorry, I have another question. I was wondering what bachelors degree in your opinion is best suited for physical therapy? What do you recommend I go for?"

Ask a PT Response: "Kinesiology is a great degree that a lot of students go for which compliments PT school and meets most or all prerequisites for application into PT school. Otherwise a degree in the sciences such as biology, zoology, etc. could work as well. You would just have to make sure you take some prerequisites which are required for PT school. ie. exercise physiology, etc.."
