The technique(Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) is a very old yet effective  technique for back pain and neck pain but you should know how to do it properly. It is much effective in acute pain rather in chronic pain.

As per the meta analysis trials conducted in 2006, this method is certainly effective in treating low back pain. You will have to continue with this therapy as the best results are experienced in the long term. Always follow any kind of treatment under an expert Physical Therapist.

Has anybody tried the MCkenzie technique of Neural Tissue Mobilization using the pissiform grasp on the L/S spine for musculoskeletal low back pain? or facet joint dysfunction?
