Our user asked: "Three weeks ago I received a total hip (right) replacement. A Physical Therapist worked with me during my hospital stay, I was discharged with a list of exercises to do at home with no follow-up. Will I be able to set-up therapy sessions with a clinic on my own in Alabama?"
 
Ask a PT Response: "The state of Alabama does not allow for direct access. Therefore, you will need an order from your MD in order to participate in PT. http://www.accessptalabama.com/page5.php"
