I fell on my back fairly hard, and at an odd angle. My assumption is that I have a bruise about midway up, just on the of my spine. My fear of the tear comes from the fact that if I stretch a certain way, a more extreme pain is felt closer to my tailbone (doesn't hurt to touch/massage). Do you think there's a chance that something is torn? I feel that it has gotten better over the past week, but some movements cause a decently large amount of pain (7/10)"

Ask a PT Response: "Without physically examining you and obtaining more information I wouldn't be able to determine what is going on. Based on your mechanism of injury and the location of yor injury, it sounds like you may have a SI issue as a result of the fall. If you continue to experience symptoms, it may be best for you to see a PT."
