Last week I was at my PT and he was stretching me when he pushed my arm a bit further than I was comfortable with. Now I can not move my arm past 50% I was previously able to go up to about 75% but since this happened I feel pain where my bankart repair was done when I reach out to pick up things."

Ask a PT Response: "How far along are you in regards to the surgery and which shoulder motion was the therapist performing range of motion on with you? It is not uncommon in some instances to experience a minor setback as far as pain and range of motion when participating in PT. To get a general ideal of exercise progression, you can visit our protocols page. Please keep in mind that the protocols are just general guidelines and vary among surgeons and patients. http://www.cyberpt.com/cyberptprotocols.asp"
