What do you think might be causing this, and what are your recommendations? Also, can you recommend some peroneal strengthening exercises besides theraband and ankle weight eversion? Thanks!"<DIV></DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><strong>Ask a PT Response:</strong> "A number of items could be contributing to your heel pain after ambulating extended distances including but not limited to: poor footwear, decrease joint mobility, decrease flexibility, decrease gait mechanics, decrease strength/endurance, decrease posture, leg length discrepancy, etc... Various conditions can contribute to heel pain as well such as: plantar fasciitis, tarsal tunnel syndrome, heel spurs, achilles tendonitis, contusion, etc... It would probably be best to see a PT so that he or she can determine what may be contributing to your pain and what condition you may have so that a plan of care can be developed."</DIV>]]>
