    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.cyberpt.com/ptforum/member_profile.asp?PF=210">jh</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 390<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Apr 07 2009 at 7:13am<br /><br />Reversed cervical lordosis especially at C5-6, disk space narrowing and osteophytes c5-7, thoracic outlet syndrome, DeQuervain's, rotator cuff, osteoporosis, arm and hand weakness, severe Raynaud's, autoimmune connective tissue disease, progressive distal neuropathy, myofascial pain<br><br>I am a 55 yo F, 5'8 153 lbs, 35+ yrs in IT, now on disability.&nbsp; Trying to maintain quality of life.&nbsp; Went through 5+ years of PT and chiropractic for above problems.&nbsp; Stopped chiropractic six months ago due to anxiety about neck adjustments.&nbsp; Subsequent xrays showed reversed cervical lordosis. &nbsp;<br><br>Given these chronic, progressing issues, what upper body exercises are possible to do at home to maintain function and minimize pain?&nbsp; Exercises involving the neck, eg for TOS, are uncomfortable.&nbsp; I can't lift much weight or pull hard.&nbsp; My arm and hand tendons are shot, grip is weak.&nbsp; I don't swim and don't care for water exercises.&nbsp; I used to do yoga.]]>
