I am suffering at night with this problem. The pain wakes me up and even when I turn over I still have pain. Also When I stand after sitting I tend to limp for a few minutes until I get mobile

Aurora

11 Posts

Posted - 09/04/2007 : 23:28:27 Show Profile Reply with Quote
Have you consulted with your physician or PT? Could be a variety of things in regards to PT such as piriformis syndrome, disc problems, spine problems, hip problems, SI problems or mechanical issues with how you sleep (impinging on nerve). Try stretching your piriformis & iliotibial band/glut a few times a day and before you sleep. Also utilize a wedge pillow between your legs and see if that helps. Consult a PT if it does not get better or if it gets worst.
