When this bursa is inflammed it can cause pain and result in muscle imbalances and weakness at various muscles such as the rotator cuff muscles, trapezius and rhomboids. Strengthening and stretching exercises for these muscles are often part of the plan of care for this condition and are prescribed by physical therapists. Examples of some of these exercises can be found on the Exercise Videos page of the CyberPT site. To determine the appropriate exercises for yourself please consult with a live physical therapist."<BR></P>]]>
