Took a look at Washington DC regulations and it doesn't specifically say: http://doh.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/doh/publication/attachments/Physical_Therapy_DC_Municipal_Regulations_for_Physical_Therapy.pdf
 
It would probably be best to cotact the Washington DC Chapter of the American
Physical Therapy Association http://www.dcpta.com/ and see what their interpretation of the regulation is.

Does anyone know the rules in Washington DC concerning supervision of a PTA.  I am trying to get information on supervision while working in home health.  The information list that direct supervision is required but that can't happen in home health.  Hope some one can share some information.
